In consideration of Woodrose International School (WIS), in accepting my child/children (herein after referred to as “student”) for admission into the School, I/We hereby agree to abide by the terms & conditions of this agreement and any subsequent revisions, and to observe all current and future school policies.

The following are the terms and conditions regarding payment at WIS:

 Payment Schemes 

 School Fees has been calculated as yearly payments. However, parents can choose to pay depending on the following payment schemes that suit them better.

  1. Monthly Payment
  2. Half Year Payment
  3. Yearly Payment

This explains the reason behind payments on months with long holidays such as January and July. Absentism from class does not give students the right for a discount. 

Discounts are not cumulative, which means that we will only consider the biggest discount (Point 1 and 2)

  1. Year Payment : 5% discount on tuition fee;

Payment must be done until the 30th January otherwise the discounted amount shall no longer be applicable.

  1. Half Year Payment:3% discount on tuition fee;

The Payment must be done untilthe 30th January for the 1st Semester and until the 10th July for the 2nd Semester; otherwise the discounted amount shall no longer be applicable.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”DISCOUNT BASED ON THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS “][vc_column_text]

  1. Sibling Discount

Siblings (Brothers and/or sisters) shall have the below listed discounts on the annual tuition fee upon presentation of supporting documents such as I.D., passports or birth certificates.

2 students                 3 % to the eldest child

3 students                  7 % to the eldest child

4 students          10 % to the eldest child[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”RECOMMENDATION DISCOUNT”][vc_column_text]Upon enrollment and payment of the recommended student, the parent who recommended him/her/them shall receive a “ONCE OFF” discount based on the following scheme:

5 %    for 1 recommended student

20 %    for 2 recommended students

25 %    for 3 recommended students

40 %    for 4 recommended students

50%     for 5 recommended students

100%    for more than 5 students

This discount will be given on the succeeding month after the enrollment/ payment of the recommended student/s is done.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”DISCOUNT BASED ON ACADEMIC AND LOYALTY/ “][vc_column_text]

  1. Academic Discount

The first honor of each class shall receive a discount for the 1st month payment on the succeeding year.

  1. Loyalty Discount

Students who have been in the institution for five years or more are entitled to the following discounts

 

6th year                  25% discount on Registration Fee

7th year                   50% discount on Registration Fee

8th year                  75% discount on Registration Fee

8 years Plus        100% discount on Registration Fee

NOTE

All Discounts provided are only valid if parents pay on time. The Discounts scheme shall be forfeited if the student(s) leave/s the school before the school year ends. In that event, the beneficiary shall reimburse the payment to the institution.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”LATE FEE STRUCTURE “][vc_column_text]All payments MUST be done in advance. In the event that the payment deadline falls under a Sunday or a Public Holiday, the payment must be done upon the succeeding working day to avoid late fees.

Payment is considered done when parents physically deliver the proof of payment to the school secretary/treasurer. However in interest of time/ convenience we will accept E-mail with the proof of payment to avoid late fee.

Payments shall be done via TRANSFER/ DEPOSIT to our Woodrose International

School BCI account

Nr.  8885 7530 10001;                          NIB   –  000800008885 7530 10180.

Payments made by cheque will only be accepted after the deposit confirmation

from the Bank.  In case of any complication with cheque bouncing, rejected, etc.,

WIS reserves the right to impose penalties as abovementioned.

.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”MONTHLY PAYMENT SCHEME”][vc_column_text]the payment for the current month must be done on or before the 5th of that month. In the event that the parent cannot pay by the 5th of the month the following late fees will apply/

 

From the 6th to 15th of the month            10% additional late fee

From the 16th to 31st of the month                        20% additional late fee/

More than 1 month                               Late Fee + Restriction/ suspension[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”HALF YEAR / FULL YEAR PAYMENT SCHEME “][vc_column_text]If parents cannot comply with the respective deadlines, they will automatically be put on the monthly fee structure and all discounts will be forfeited.

 

NOTEIn order to avoid any inconvenience to the student during examination days, parents should settle their outstanding account prior the Term Examination week. The school follows:

NO PAYMENT, NO EXAM POLICY.

In the event of missed exam, the student may write the Special Term Examination after paying an exam fee of 300 MT per subject.

If the parents would not be able to make the necessary payments, the school has the prerogative not to accept the child or to send him/her home, unless payment has been presented.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”REFUND POLICY “][vc_column_text]Registration, Books, Miscellaneous Fee, Transport and Food are non-refundable. Only the students who pay on a term or yearly basis and wish to leave the institution before the school year ends can apply for refund which is subjected to approval. If authorized the refund process takes a minimum of two months
